AREVA Renewables CEO Anil Srivastava stated: "As we ramp up the Wind business for large scale deployments and expand the Offshore Wind business internationally, Jean's proven track record in delivering large strategic initiatives will be of tremendous value. I am sure that under his leadership AREVA Wind will emerge as the leading player in the industry."

JEAN Huby began his career in 2000 at the Solétanche-Bachy group (now part of the Vinci group) before joining the mobile telephony division of SAGEM (now Safran). From 2002 to 2008, he occupied several leading positions at the European Commission (EC), before joining AREVA. Jean Huby is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and the École des Mines. He holds a post-graduate degree in economics.

AREVA Wind designs, builds, assembles and commissions high-efficiency five-megawatt wind turbines specifically designed for the offshore market. It also offers installation services, as well as short to long-term service plans to ensure the optimum performance of the power generation assets.
